Visit York County and The Farmer’s Feed Announce Collaboration to Promote Agritourism and Share Stories of Local Farmers
ROCK HILL, S.C., April 16, 2025 – Visit York County and The Farmer’s Feed are excited to announce a new collaboration aimed at promoting agritourism and showcasing the stories of local farmers. This joint effort will highlight the region’s agricultural heritage and connect visitors with the people and places that make York County a unique destination for farm-based experiences.
The collaboration will focus on bringing greater visibility to agritourism through engaging digital storytelling, featuring local farms and agricultural experiences. Through multimedia content, event coverage, and in-depth storytelling, the initiative will celebrate the hardworking farmers of York County and inspire the community and its visitors to support local agriculture.
“Agritourism is a vital part of York County’s economy and cultural identity,” said Andy Clinton, President/CEO of Visit York County. “Partnering with Caroline Lewis and The Farmer’s Feed allows us to tell the incredible stories of our farmers and bring more visitors to our local farms.”
Caroline Lewis, founder of The Farmer’s Feed, added, “Less than 11% of the food we eat in South Carolina is grown here. That has to change. This partnership will give a voice to the hardworking farmers of York County and inspire the community and visitors to support local agriculture.”
Through this joint effort, Visit York County and The Farmer’s Feed aim to drive greater engagement, awareness, and support for agritourism in the region.
